They must have an in-depth knowledge of data analysis techniques and be able to draw meaningful insights from complex data sets. Expert knowledge of SQL, relational databases and other programming languages such as Python and R is essential. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) and a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts is also highly desirable.Finally, the BI & Analytics Specialist must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for data-driven analysis.
