Job Description

Are you a passionate individual with a love for technology and an eagerness to learn? Do you have a strong understanding of CI/CD processes and a familiarity with GitHub? Amadeus IT Group is seeking an Apprentice - CI/CD with GitHub to join our dynamic team. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the field of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. We are looking for someone who is driven, curious, and motivated to excel in a fast-paced environment.   1. Learn and understand the CI/CD processes and practices within the organization.
  2. Assist the team in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
  3. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the CI/CD pipelines.
  4. Continuously research and stay updated on the latest CI/CD tools and technologies.
  5. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  6. Contribute to the development and improvement of automation scripts and tools.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code.
  8. Follow company guidelines and best practices for code management and version control.
  9. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for CI/CD processes and tools.
  10. Proactively identify and suggest improvements to the CI/CD processes and workflows.
  11. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges and tasks.
  12. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and issues.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Show a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Ci/Cd Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Continuous Integration And Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd) Processes, And How They Can Be Implemented Using Github.

  • Proficiency In Github: The Apprentice Should Be Proficient In Using Github, Including Features Such As Version Control, Branching, Merging, And Managing Pull Requests.

  • Familiarity With Automation Tools: Experience With Automation Tools Such As Jenkins, Travis Ci, Or Circleci Is Essential For This Role, As They Will Be Responsible For Automating Build And Deployment Processes.

  • Understanding Of Software Development Lifecycle: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Software Development Lifecycle, Including Coding, Testing, And Deployment, And How Ci/Cd Fits Into This Cycle.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As An Apprentice, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Learn And Troubleshoot Issues Related To Ci/Cd Processes. Strong Problem-Solving Skills Will Be Crucial In Ensuring Smooth And Efficient Workflows.
