
Dialysis Technician
At Altru Health System, we are seeking a Dialysis Technician to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for providing care to patients with end-stage renal disease by managing and monitoring dialysis treatments. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate individual with a passion for helping others.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent clinical judgment and be able to work independently. You must also be knowledgeable and possess the skills necessary to perform the duties of a Dialysis Technician. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in a related medical field or have completed a recognized dialysis technician training program. Additionally, you must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to work flexible hours. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage dialysis treatments for patients with end-stage renal disease
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to infection control policies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient treatments
- Report any changes in patient’s condition to the healthcare team
- Participate in patient education and training
- Assist in the orientation of new staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other federal, state, and local laws
- Work flexible hours and have a valid driver’s license
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
