
Cardiac Device Technician
The Cardiac Device Technician at Altru Health System is an integral part of our team, responsible for providing safe and effective care to our patients. As a Cardiac Device Technician, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring device implantations including pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices. Responsibilities of a Cardiac Device Technician at Altru Health System:
- Perform device implantations including pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices in a safe and effective manner.
- Monitor the performance of implanted devices.
- Utilize complex diagnostic and therapeutic equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Provide patient education related to device implantation and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
