Job Description

As the Director, you will lead the development of key messaging and initial outreach activities to potential media as well as ongoing communications/visits. Working seamlessly with senior leadership and brand PR teams in both the U.S. and Internationally, you will provide external and internal communications counsel regarding proactive and reactive product issues and other related topics. Write press releases, social media posts, and other collateral materials to support Allergan Aesthetics business. Coordinate interaction with media, when appropriate, between the media and senior executives. Lead media-related distribution services to include queue and distribution of press releases, media advisories, pitches and statements, as well as maintenance/strategic assembly of all up-to-date press contacts. Devise news angles to coordinate response to incoming press queries as well as domestic and global editorial calendar opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of broad-reaching, progressively responsible media relations/marketing experience

  • Experience working with or for a healthcare company; incorporates strong business perspective when making decisions

  • Proven track record in media relations

  • Knowledge of Medical Aesthetics business preferred

  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment
