
Instructional Systems Specialist

- Develop and implement effective training programs for ATF agents and personnel.
- Continuously assess and evaluate training needs based on changes in laws, regulations, and technology.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and synthesize information for training materials.
- Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, simulations, and e-learning modules.
- Conduct training sessions for small and large groups, both in person and virtually.
- Ensure all training materials are up to date, accurate, and comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track employee participation and completion of training programs.
- Provide support and guidance to field offices in the implementation of training programs.
- Stay current with best practices and trends in instructional design and training techniques.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of ATF's mission and objectives.
- Collaborate with other instructional systems specialists and team members to share knowledge and resources.
- Act as a liaison between the training department and other departments within ATF.
- Maintain records and reports on training activities and outcomes.
- Continuously seek feedback from trainees and make necessary improvements to training programs.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to training and development within the agency.
Bachelor's Degree In Instructional Design, Education, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Instructional Systems Design And Development.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Models.
Familiarity With Learning Management Systems And E-Learning Authoring Tools.
Experience In Designing And Delivering Training Programs For Law Enforcement Or Other Government Agencies.
