Alaska Airlines is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pilot to join our team. As the Pilot, you will be responsible for the safe navigation of the aircraft, ensuring that all passengers and cargo reach their destination safely, and providing an enjoyable and comfortable flight experience. To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Airline Transport Pilot license, have a minimum of 5,000 hours of total time as a Pilot, and have a minimum of 1,000 hours in a multi-engine aircraft. Responsibilities:
- Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Inspect and maintain the aircraft before, during, and after flights.
- Provide passengers with an enjoyable and comfortable flight experience.
- Monitor the aircraft’s engines, systems, and instruments throughout the flight.
- Coordinate with air traffic control to manage routes and flight plans.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of passengers and cargo.
- Ensure that all passengers and cargo reach their destination safely.
- Maintain communication with the flight crew and ground personnel.
- Monitor weather and other conditions to ensure safe passage.
- Remain up to date on all aviation regulations and safety protocols.
- Provide customer service to passengers and answer their questions or concerns.
- Demonstrate leadership and team-building skills.
