
Network Planning Analyst
Alaska Airlines is looking for a Network Planning Analyst who is passionate about aviation and excited to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airline network planning and optimization, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The Network Planning Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing Alaska Airlines' network plans through analysis and forecasting. This role will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure our flights meet customer demand and maximize revenue.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Aviation Management, or related field• At least 3 years of experience in airline network planning and optimization• Advanced knowledge of airline revenue management principles, including pricing, forecasting, and inventory management• Demonstrated knowledge of airline operations, scheduling, and fleet planning• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel
Responsibilities of a Network Planning Analyst:
- Develop, implement, and optimize Alaska Airlines' network plans through analysis and forecasting.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure our flights meet customer demand and maximize revenue.
- Utilize airline revenue management principles, including pricing, forecasting, and inventory management to improve network plans.
- Monitor airline operations, scheduling, and fleet planning to ensure flights are properly organized.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement in network plans.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
- Work independently and in a team environment to ensure the successful execution of network plans.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to analyze and report on data.
