Alaska Airlines is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient planning and scheduling of maintenance operations for our aircraft fleet. You will need to be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multitask with strong attention to detail. If you have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for aviation, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance planning experience, preferably with a regulatory agency such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). They should have a thorough understanding of the Airworthiness Directives, as well as an understanding of the airline’s maintenance processes. Additionally, they should have demonstrated experience with maintenance scheduling and planning tools, such as AMOS or RAMP. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for aircraft fleet that are efficient and meet all safety standards.
- Monitor and track maintenance operations and activities to ensure they are being completed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Remain up-to-date on Airworthiness Directives and other regulatory standards in order to ensure plans and operations are compliant.
- Utilize maintenance scheduling and planning tools, such as AMOS and RAMP, to streamline operations and ensure accuracy.
- Communicate plans and progress to other departments and personnel as needed.
- Analyze and troubleshoot any issues that arise during maintenance operations.
- Make recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all activities are being completed in accordance with safety protocols.
- Foster a safe and positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance operations.
