Job Description

Alaska Airlines is seeking an experienced and passionate Customer Service Agent to join our team. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our passengers in a variety of ways, including ticketing, check-in, boarding, and baggage services. You will be expected to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be customer service-oriented and have a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who is driven and has a strong desire to exceed customer expectations. If this sounds like the job for you, we'd love to hear from you!Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred• Must be able to maintain a high level of customer service at all times• A minimum of one year of customer service experience• Experience in the airline industry preferred• Must be able to work independently and calmly under pressure• Must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Ensure that passengers are provided with accurate information regarding their flight.
  3. Assist passengers with check-in, ticketing, and boarding procedures.
  4. Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain a positive attitude and work environment.
  6. Monitor and manage customer service related issues.
  7. Troubleshoot customer service issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  8. Follow safety and security protocols at all times.
  9. Remain up-to-date with changes in airline policies and procedures.
  10. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and customers.
