
Aircraft Mechanic
Alaska Airlines is looking for an experienced and motivated Aircraft Mechanic to join our team! At Alaska Airlines, we are dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and efficient service to our passengers. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircraft mechanical systems. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance standards, be experienced in troubleshooting and repair, and be able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have an A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification, 5+ years of experience in aerospace maintenance, and strong organizational and analytical skills. Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections and maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical systems as needed.
- Ensure aircraft maintenance standards are strictly followed.
- Maintain detailed records of aircraft maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and update aircraft mechanical system inventory and supplies.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and guidelines.
- Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Assist in the training and development of new aircraft mechanics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
