Job Description

Alaska Airlines is looking for a motivated and experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience working with aircraft. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft, as well as providing technical support and assistance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft systems and be able to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join a well-respected and growing airline. Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair aircraft engines, components, and systems.
  2. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical and electrical systems.
  4. Perform inspections to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness.
  5. Record maintenance and repair activities in logs.
  6. Follow safety protocols and procedures when working on aircraft.
  7. Provide technical assistance and support to other aircraft mechanics.
  8. Maintain tools, equipment, and repair materials in a safe and organized manner.
  9. Maintain updated knowledge of aircraft systems and regulations.
  10. Comply with all applicable FAA regulations.
