
Aircraft Mechanic
Alaska Airlines is looking for a motivated and experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience working with aircraft. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft, as well as providing technical support and assistance. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair aircraft engines, components, and systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform inspections to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness.
- Record maintenance and repair activities in logs.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures when working on aircraft.
- Provide technical assistance and support to other aircraft mechanics.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and repair materials in a safe and organized manner.
- Maintain updated knowledge of aircraft systems and regulations.
- Comply with all applicable FAA regulations.
