Principal Engineer, Developer Platform Systems

We’re looking for a Principal Engineer who is passionate about building world-class Developer Platform Systems at Airbnb. If you have a deep understanding of software engineering, an appetite for problem solving, and an eye for detail, this role is for you.At Airbnb, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of engineers, designers, and product managers to develop innovative solutions to challenging problems. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our Developer Platform systems and making them more reliable, secure, and efficient.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a background in building large-scale systems and services. You must also have a deep understanding of backend technologies, and experience with developing secure, robust, and reliable systems. An understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and container technologies is a plus.We’re looking for someone with a creative and innovative mindset who is eager to dive in and tackle complex and challenging problems.
