Experience Designer, Visual
A blend of expertise in product-interface (UI/XD, etc) and brand-identity (visual primitives like type, color, etc). A strong understanding of how typography, imagery, and composition can communicate and evoke a sense of belonging. Hold a belief that you design with accessibility in mind at the forefront — never an afterthought, nor seen as a limitation. Evangelize the design system and proactively propose system evolutions, additions and improvements Collaborate with a wide range of complementing disciplines and individuals, from interaction to motion, sound to illustration. The ability to communicate how visuals should feel, sound, and move. Ability to design beyond a device — not just product screens, but also well organized Figma files, pixel-perfect components, the composition of presentations, and physical material (print, packaging, hardware, wayfinding, etc).
8+ years of relevant experience on a creative team, either in-house or agency.
3+ years of leadership experience (IC or Manager).
Systems-thinker with the ability to design for online and offline experiences.
Demonstrated ability to help a team navigate ambiguity.
Depth of experience in a variety of design tools (product design, prototyping and/or animation).
