Automation Project Engineer

Agilent Technologies is looking for an experienced Automation Project Engineer to join our team. As the Automation Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation projects to improve operational efficiencies and quality of products.We are looking for an individual who has a strong background in automation engineering and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Automation/Controls/Robotics Engineering, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience in advanced automation systems, PLCs, and experience in a regulated environment are also desired. Responsibilities of Automation Project Engineer:

1. Design, develop, and implement automation projects to improve operational efficiencies and quality of products.
2. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure successful project completion.
3. Develop and maintain advanced automation systems, PLCs, and other related components.
4. Analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as needed.
6. Monitor and evaluate project progress to ensure timely completion.
7. Ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain accurate records.
9. Troubleshoot and debug automation systems and components.
10. Train and mentor junior staff members as needed.
