- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather necessary information and make informed underwriting decisions.
- Review and analyze complex financial data, including claims history, to accurately assess risk and determine appropriate coverage.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing and evaluating policies and data.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and make strategic underwriting decisions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to explain underwriting processes, policies, and decisions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet underwriting deadlines and achieve organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to support business growth and retention.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of underwriting processes.
- Train and mentor junior underwriting staff to ensure high quality work and development of skills.
