  1. Develop and lead the Clinical Innovation strategy for the company, in alignment with the overall business objectives and goals.
  2. Identify and evaluate new and emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in healthcare to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance the delivery of care.
  4. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for clinical innovation initiatives.
  5. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Innovation department, including resource allocation, performance management, and budget oversight.
  6. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical innovation initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  8. Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to clinical innovation and ensure adherence across all projects.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and industry experts.
  10. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the progress and impact of clinical innovation projects.
  11. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to drive professional growth and development.
  12. Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and speaking engagements to promote Aetna's clinical innovation initiatives.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the Clinical Innovation department.
  14. Stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare industry trends and advancements to inform and guide the company's clinical innovation strategy.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Medicine.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within The Healthcare Industry, With A Focus On Clinical Innovation And Process Improvement.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Innovative Clinical Programs And Initiatives That Improve Patient Outcomes And Reduce Costs.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, As Well As Experience Working Within A Highly Regulated Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
