  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers in the Metro NY area
  • Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care for Aetna members
  • Analyze and evaluate provider performance data to identify areas for improvement and negotiate appropriate contract terms
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative contracting strategies and solutions
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential providers and network expansion opportunities
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and inform business decisions
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage all aspects of the contracting process, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for provider inquiries and concerns, and provide timely and effective resolution
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Aetna’s products and services to effectively communicate with providers and address any issues or concerns
  • Build and maintain partnerships with providers to foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship
  • Monitor and track provider performance and maintain documentation of contract compliance
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns raised by providers, and work to resolve any conflicts in a timely manner
  • Act as a subject matter expert on healthcare contracting and provide guidance and support to internal teams as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Provider Network Contracting And Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Trends And Regulations, Particularly In The Metro Ny Market.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Providers.

  • Experience With Contract Analysis And Development, Including The Ability To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities And Negotiate Favorable Terms For Aetna.
