  1. Serve as the main point of contact and advocate for Aetna's network of healthcare providers.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with providers, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Promote collaboration and open communication between Aetna and providers to improve the quality and affordability of care for members.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and policies related to provider networks and advocate for necessary changes or improvements.
  5. Conduct regular visits and meetings with providers to understand their unique challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Aetna's products, services, and networks to effectively communicate with providers.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve provider issues and ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  8. Act as a liaison between Aetna and providers during contract negotiations, ensuring fair and beneficial terms for both parties.
  9. Monitor provider performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance the overall member experience.
  10. Educate providers on Aetna's policies and procedures to ensure compliance and adherence to quality standards.
  11. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and patterns that could impact provider relationships and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the provider experience and improving overall performance.
  13. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in regards to provider networks, reimbursement, and regulations.
  14. Represent Aetna at industry events and conferences to promote the company's mission and build relationships with potential and existing providers.
  15. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, empathy, and discretion when dealing with sensitive provider issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Management, Public Health, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Healthcare Or Insurance Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Regulations And Compliance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Advocate For Providers.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Provider Engagement Strategies.
