  1. Negotiate and manage contracts with healthcare providers to ensure fair and beneficial terms for Aetna.
  2. Monitor and maintain relationships with existing providers, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
  3. Proactively identify and pursue new provider partnerships to expand Aetna's network.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure contract compliance.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and finance, to review and approve contract terms.
  6. Conduct thorough analysis of provider performance and utilization data to inform contract negotiations.
  7. Communicate contract updates and changes to internal stakeholders and external providers.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with providers, addressing any concerns and providing support when needed.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all contract-related paperwork and documentation.
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline contract management and enhance provider relationships.
  11. Resolve any contract disputes or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  13. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment within the network management department.
  14. Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance overall performance.
  15. Represent Aetna in a professional and positive manner when interacting with external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Contract Management, Preferably In A Network Management Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry Trends, Regulations, And Contract Negotiation Principles.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Positive Relationships With Providers And Internal Stakeholders.

  • Proficient In Data Analysis And Contract Interpretation, With Experience In Developing And Implementing Network Strategies To Achieve Cost Savings And Improve Provider Performance.
