- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure a strong and reliable network.
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare industry trends and regulations to inform contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and finance, to ensure contracts meet company standards and objectives.
- Analyze contract performance and make recommendations for improvements and cost savings.
- Communicate contract updates and changes to both internal teams and external providers.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform negotiation strategies.
- Monitor and track contract compliance and address any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for network management.
- Represent Aetna in meetings and presentations with healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
- Ensure all contracts are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to contract management.
- Train and mentor other team members as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert on network contract management for the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Contract Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry
Strong Negotiation Skills And Experience With Vendor Contracts And Provider Agreements
In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Specifically Regarding Network Management And Provider Reimbursement
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With External Stakeholders
