  1. Manage and negotiate contracts with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective care for our members.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure a strong and reliable network.
  3. Stay up-to-date on healthcare industry trends and regulations to inform contract negotiations.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and finance, to ensure contracts meet company standards and objectives.
  5. Analyze contract performance and make recommendations for improvements and cost savings.
  6. Communicate contract updates and changes to both internal teams and external providers.
  7. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform negotiation strategies.
  8. Monitor and track contract compliance and address any issues that arise.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for network management.
  10. Represent Aetna in meetings and presentations with healthcare providers.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
  12. Ensure all contracts are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to contract management.
  14. Train and mentor other team members as needed.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on network contract management for the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Contract Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry

  • Strong Negotiation Skills And Experience With Vendor Contracts And Provider Agreements

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Specifically Regarding Network Management And Provider Reimbursement

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With External Stakeholders
