  1. Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve the delivery of quality care for Aetna’s members.
  2. Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and other medical staff.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute healthcare initiatives that align with Aetna’s mission and goals.
  4. Stay current on industry trends and changes in healthcare policies to ensure Aetna’s practices are in compliance.
  5. Evaluate and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for action.
  6. Act as a liaison between Aetna and external healthcare providers and organizations.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among team members.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, providers, and community organizations.
  9. Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
  10. Oversee the development and implementation of clinical programs and protocols.
  11. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  12. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  13. Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to the overall strategic direction of Aetna’s healthcare management team.
  14. Represent Aetna at industry conferences and events.
  15. Contribute to the development of budgets and manage expenses for the healthcare management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active Medical License In The State Where The Position Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Management, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry Trends And Regulations, Including Medicare And Medicaid.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
