  9. Mentor and coach junior data scientists, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  10. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in data science.
  11. Stay up-to-date on data privacy and security regulations and ensure compliance in all data-related activities.
  12. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Aetna's data governance policies and procedures.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve data processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on data science and provide guidance and support to other teams within the company.
  15. Represent Aetna at industry events and conferences, sharing insights and advancements in data science.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data Analysis And Statistical Modeling: The Lead Data Scientist At Aetna Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Analysis Techniques And Statistical Modeling Methods To Derive Insights And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Strong Programming Skills: Aetna's Lead Data Scientist Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql To Extract, Manipulate, And Analyze Large Datasets.
