  1. Provide confidential counseling services to employees through the Employee Assistance Program.
  2. Offer support, guidance, and resources to employees facing personal or work-related issues.
  3. Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for employees seeking assistance.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of counseling sessions and referral information.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the EAP team to ensure comprehensive and effective support for employees.
  6. Stay up-to-date on mental health and wellness trends and research to continuously improve counseling services.
  7. Maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach while working with employees from diverse backgrounds.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with employees and colleagues.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
  10. Create a safe and confidential space for employees to discuss sensitive issues and concerns.
  11. Demonstrate empathy and active listening skills to build trust and rapport with employees.
  12. Utilize appropriate interventions and techniques to help employees address and manage their personal and work-related challenges.
  13. Serve as a resource and referral source for employees seeking additional support and services.
  14. Collaborate with company leaders and HR representatives to address systemic issues and promote a healthy work environment for employees.
  15. Represent Aetna in a professional and positive manner, embodying the company's commitment to improving the lives of members and employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Providing Counseling Services, Preferably In A Corporate Or Eap Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Conditions, Substance Abuse, And Workplace Issues.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Provide Support To Clients.

  • Certification Or Licensure As A Counselor Or Therapist, Such As Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw).
