- Conduct confidential counseling sessions with employees to address personal and work-related challenges.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to assist employees in achieving their goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to employees in distress.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and resources to ensure comprehensive care for employees.
- Conduct needs assessments and refer employees to appropriate resources and services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of counseling sessions and employee progress.
- Educate employees on mental health and wellness topics.
- Advocate for employees and their mental health needs within the organization.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in counseling and mental health.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in counseling practices.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to improve the EAP program.
- Support Aetna's mission and values in all interactions with employees.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors in handling employee mental health concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the privacy of employees seeking counseling services.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the EAP program.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Or Psychology From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Providing Counseling Services In A Mental Health Or Employee Assistance Setting.
Certification As A Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) In The State Of Employment.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Therapeutic Modalities And Their Application In A Workplace Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Build Rapport With Clients And Their Employers.
