  1. Conduct confidential counseling sessions with employees to address personal and work-related challenges.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans to assist employees in achieving their goals.
  3. Provide crisis intervention and support to employees in distress.
  4. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and resources to ensure comprehensive care for employees.
  5. Conduct needs assessments and refer employees to appropriate resources and services.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of counseling sessions and employee progress.
  7. Educate employees on mental health and wellness topics.
  8. Advocate for employees and their mental health needs within the organization.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in counseling and mental health.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in counseling practices.
  11. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to improve the EAP program.
  12. Support Aetna's mission and values in all interactions with employees.
  13. Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors in handling employee mental health concerns.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and uphold the privacy of employees seeking counseling services.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the EAP program.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Or Psychology From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Providing Counseling Services In A Mental Health Or Employee Assistance Setting.

  • Certification As A Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) In The State Of Employment.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Therapeutic Modalities And Their Application In A Workplace Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Build Rapport With Clients And Their Employers.
