
EAP Counselor (Employee Assistance Program)

- Provide confidential counseling services to employees through the Employee Assistance Program
- Assess and address employees' personal and professional challenges
- Maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to counseling
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each employee
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to support employees' well-being
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and resources to provide comprehensive care for employees
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of counseling sessions and progress
- Strictly adhere to ethical and legal standards of confidentiality
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Keep up-to-date with current mental health trends and best practices
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and trainings for employees on various mental health topics
- Act as a liaison between Aetna and outside mental health providers to ensure seamless care for employees
- Uphold Aetna's values and commitment to employee well-being in all interactions and communications.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Counseling Or Psychotherapy, Preferably In An Employee Assistance Program Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Disorders, Substance Abuse, And Crisis Intervention Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Establish Rapport And Build Trust With Clients.
Knowledge Of And Adherence To Ethical Principles And Professional Standards In Counseling, Such As Those Set By The American Counseling Association Or The National Association Of Social Workers.
