
Compliance Manager (Healthcare)

- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in laws to ensure Aetna's compliance practices are current and effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support on compliance-related matters.
- Train and educate employees on compliance policies and procedures to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Investigate and resolve any identified compliance issues, taking appropriate corrective actions and making recommendations for process improvements.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and participate in compliance audits and inquiries.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance efforts and report findings to senior management.
- Implement and oversee a confidential reporting system for employees to report potential compliance violations or concerns.
- Partner with legal and human resources teams to address any compliance-related employee issues or concerns.
- Conduct due diligence on third-party vendors to ensure they meet compliance standards.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement of the compliance program.
- Proactively identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.
- Represent Aetna in compliance-related meetings, conferences, and trainings.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Compliance Regulations: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Healthcare Compliance, Such As Hipaa, Medicare And Medicaid, And The Affordable Care Act.
Experience In Managing Compliance Programs: A Compliance Manager At Aetna Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Effective Compliance Programs In A Healthcare Setting. This Includes Conducting Risk Assessments, Creating Policies And Procedures, And Monitoring Compliance Activities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Compliance Manager, You Will Need To Communicate Complex Compliance Issues To A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Employees, And External Auditors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
