  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of members' behavioral health needs and develop individualized care plans.
  2. Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for members.
  3. Provide ongoing support and education to members and their families regarding their treatment plan and available resources.
  4. Monitor and track members' progress towards treatment goals and adjust care plans as needed.
  5. Advocate for members and ensure they receive appropriate and timely access to necessary behavioral health services.
  6. Utilize evidence-based practices and treatment modalities to support members' recovery and well-being.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records and documentation of member interactions and progress.
  8. Serve as a liaison between members, their families, and healthcare providers to promote effective communication and continuity of care.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to behavioral health case management.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements for efficient and effective case management.
  11. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by actively participating in team meetings and providing constructive feedback.
  12. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with members and colleagues.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  14. Attend trainings, conferences, and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
  15. Promote Aetna's mission and values by consistently delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our members.

Job Qualifications
  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience As A Clinical Case Manager In The Behavioral Health Field.

  • A Master's Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Mental Health And Substance Abuse Disorders, As Well As Treatment Options And Resources.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Clients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Insurance And Reimbursement Processes, Specifically Related To Behavioral Health Services.
