Shipping Coordinator

Executes shipping processes including packaging, labeling and shipment of product. Identifies shipping requirements and best routes and methods for delivery to meet customer requirements. Coordinate shipments for commercial, DoD and international conveyance including all necessary documentation, schedule freight shipments with freight forwarders and carriers, verify shipments’ compliance integrity. Identifies, tracks and maintains all necessary materials and documentation to support internal and external audits. Responsible for implementing best practices including safety requirements and maintaining desk procedures. Demonstrates ability to handle shipping domestically and navigate requirements & restrictions. Works with Shipping Supervisor and Senior Shipping Clerk on all aspects of the operation. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
