Aerotek is currently seeking an Estimator for a Contract-to-Hire position working near Tigard, OR. The primary responsibility of an Estimator is to provide accurate and timely material take-offs and to formulate construction budgets based on take-offs and budget targets. The Estimator must be extremely organized and able to visualize all material aspects of a project from blueprints and/or verbal descriptions. The Estimator must have a vibrant network of subcontractors while keeping up on current building codes and government construction requirements. Our collaborative environment demands high levels of communication and dependability.
10+ years experience in commercial construction
Must have commercial builder experience
Sub-consultant/vendor pricing/scope/plan accuracy and completeness
Experience working with high level clients, owners, architects, bureaucrats, etc.
Experience in pre-construction
