Occupational Health & Wellness Nurse
Provide or coordinate care, treatment and management of occupational and non-occupational injuries/illnesses ensuring appropriate care and return to work. Assist departments with identifying, evaluating, and implementing reasonable accommodations and return to work options for employees with restricted duty. Support ergonomic evaluation efforts and provide input regarding ergonomic improvements and conduct or arrange ergonomic assessments and solutions, as needed. Analyzing occupational and non-occupational injury/illness cases occurring to identify primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and health promotion strategies to optimize health of employees. Responsible for securing and developing all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services.
At least 5 years’ experience as a RN, PA or NP
3 years’ experience in an corporate or industrial setting
Experience and ability to manage emergency care situations
Certifications in hearing conservation, spirometry, and Basic Life Support a plus
