- Develop and implement the third party risk management strategy for the organization.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third party relationships to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure third party risk management practices align with overall business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to third party risk management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with third party vendors to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals to ensure the successful execution of the third party risk management strategy.
- Communicate and report on third party risk management activities and findings to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective third party risk management practices throughout the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert on third party risk management and provide guidance and training to other departments as needed.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all third party contracts and agreements include appropriate risk management provisions.
- Proactively identify and escalate potential risks associated with third party relationships to senior management.
- Continuously monitor and assess the changing risk landscape to adjust and improve the third party risk management strategy as needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Third Party Risk Management Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Standards Related To Third Party Risk Management, Such As Occ 2013-29 And Iso 27001.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Mitigating Third Party Risks In A Large, Complex Organization.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Both Internal And External Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Business, Finance, Or Risk Management. A Master's Degree Or Relevant Certification (E.g. Crisc, Ctprp) Is Preferred.
