As Senior Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to our Real Estate Private Equity business, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.   1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the Real Estate Private Equity team in all legal matters.
  2. Stay up-to-date on all relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments that may impact the business.
  3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support decision making and risk assessment.
  4. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements and contracts related to real estate private equity investments.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.
  6. Advise on potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.
  7. Assist with the development and implementation of legal strategies to support business objectives.
  8. Conduct due diligence on potential investments and make recommendations to the team.
  9. Work closely with external legal counsel and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
  10. Train and educate team members on legal issues and best practices.
  11. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support the growth and success of the business.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation and records.
  13. Represent the company in legal proceedings, as needed.
  14. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior legal team members.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve legal processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Real Estate Private Equity, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Managing Complex Projects And Transactions.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of The Real Estate Market, Including Trends, Regulations, And Industry Best Practices.

  • Strong Financial Acumen And Experience In Financial Modeling, Analysis, And Due Diligence For Real Estate Investments.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • A Graduate Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field, And Relevant Professional Certifications Such As Cfa Or Ccim.
