- Conduct thorough audits of retirement plans and products to identify any potential compliance issues.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to stay informed of any changes to retirement laws and regulations.
- Advise and provide guidance to internal teams on compliance issues and potential solutions.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and developments in retirement compliance to ensure Aegon's products and plans remain competitive and compliant.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training for Aegon employees.
- Stay up-to-date on compliance best practices and make recommendations for improvements to current processes.
- Communicate and interact with external regulatory bodies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance activities and documentation.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new retirement products and plans while ensuring compliance.
- Proactively identify and address potential compliance risks within Aegon's retirement offerings.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Act as a subject matter expert on retirement compliance issues and provide guidance to colleagues as needed.
- Continuously assess and improve Aegon's compliance program to ensure the highest level of integrity and adherence to regulations.
Knowledge Of Retirement Compliance Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Retirement Plans, Including Erisa, Irs Regulations, And Dol Rules.
