Unit Clerk
Assists in the facilitation and the transferring of patients to other healthcare facilities under the direction of the RN. Responsible for organizing the inventory needed for patient records. Assures that all forms and office supplies are ordered on a weekly basis. Communicates effectively to appropriate individuals to meet the needs of patients, family and the environment. Responds to nurse/patient intercom system in a timely manner. Maintains a safe patient care environment.
At least 1 year experience in an acute care setting preferred
