1. Assist surgeons during procedures by handing them instruments, sponges, and other supplies.
2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
3. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room by following proper infection control protocols.
4. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
5. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively provide assistance.
6. Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
7. Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
