Supervisor, RN (Outpatient) - Lactation Services

1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Outpatient Lactation Services program.
2. Lead and motivate a team of dedicated nurses to provide exceptional care to patients and their families.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality lactation and breastfeeding support for patients.
4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Lactation Services team, providing feedback and support for professional development.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
6. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in lactation and breastfeeding support.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to enhance and promote lactation services.
8. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to lactation and breastfeeding support.
9. Participate in budget planning and allocation of resources for the Lactation Services program.
10. Serve as a role model for professional nursing practice and provide guidance and support to team members.
11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for the Lactation Services team.
12. Continuously monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies for improvement.
13. Serve as a liaison between the Lactation Services team and other departments within the hospital.
14. Ensure the highest level of patient safety and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
15. Act as a resource for patients, families, and staff on lactation and breastfeeding support.
16. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members.
17. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
18. Represent the Lactation Services program and AdventHealth in a professional and positive manner.
