  1. Greet and welcome patients, their families, and visitors to the imaging department with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  2. Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms for imaging services.
  3. Schedule and coordinate imaging appointments according to patient needs and availability.
  4. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including imaging orders, results, and other pertinent information.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the imaging team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  6. Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition for use.
  7. Help patients prepare for imaging procedures, providing clear and thorough instructions.
  8. Administer contrast agents and other medications as directed by the imaging team.
  9. Monitor patients during imaging procedures and address any concerns or discomforts they may have.
  10. Assist the radiologist or other imaging professionals as needed during procedures.
  11. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times.
  12. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff.
  13. Stay updated on new imaging technology and techniques, and attend training as required.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the imaging supervisor or department manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Formal Education: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required. Additionally, Any Relevant Certification Or Training In Medical Imaging Technology Is Preferred.

  • Experience: At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Medical Imaging Setting Is Required, With A Preference For Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Imaging Equipment, Such As X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound Machines, Is Essential. Knowledge Of Specialized Imaging Software And Electronic Medical Records Systems Is Also Preferred.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Necessary To Interact Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Team Members. The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure And Handle Difficult Situations With Empathy Is Also Crucial.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Sr. Imaging Assistant, Attention To Detail Is Essential In Ensuring Accurate And Precise Imaging Results. Candidates Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Anatomy And Medical Terminology, As Well As The Ability To Follow Protocols And Maintain Strict Quality Control Standards.
