Job Description

  1. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans for patients based on their medical condition, dietary needs, and lifestyle.
  2. Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers to promote healthy eating habits and manage medical conditions.
  3. Mentor and supervise a team of dietitians, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality patient care and professional development.
  4. Stay current with the latest research and trends in clinical nutrition and incorporate this knowledge into practice to enhance patient outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement interdisciplinary treatment plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
  6. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust nutrition care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  7. Conduct nutrition-related research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of clinical nutrition.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nutrition interventions, assessments, and outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  9. Serve as a resource and consultant to healthcare professionals, patients, and community members on nutrition-related topics.
  10. Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition-related policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality and consistent care.
  11. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance expertise in clinical nutrition.
  12. Promote and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Credential From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Rd In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field.

  • Advanced Certification In A Specialized Area Of Practice Such As Pediatric Nutrition, Oncology Nutrition, Or Sports Nutrition.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Dietitians And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
