1. Administer specialized procedures to patients in a safe and effective manner.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and plan patient care.
3. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including procedure documentation.
5. Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care and expectations.
6. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
7. Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.
9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during procedures.
10. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to specialized procedures and medical advancements.
11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure optimal care and understanding.
12. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new procedures.
14. Serve as a patient advocate and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of care.
15. Act as a role model for other nurses and assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
