- Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to patients in the Emergency Room.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to effectively and efficiently manage patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.

Active Rn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Rn In The Er At Adventhealth Is An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Where The Hospital Is Located. This Ensures That The Nurse Has Met All The Necessary Educational And Training Requirements To Practice Nursing In That State.
Minimum Of Two Years Of Er Experience: Adventhealth Requires A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working In The Er As A Rn. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Familiar With The Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Environment Of The Er And Has The Necessary Skills To Handle Critical Situations.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Essential For Nurses Working In The Er. Adventhealth Requires All Rns To Have Current Bls And Acls Certifications To Ensure They Are Equipped To Handle Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Interventions.
Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: Working In The Er Requires Quick Thinking And The Ability To Make Decisions Under Pressure. Adventhealth Looks For Rns Who Possess Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Assess And Prioritize Patient Needs In Emergency Situations.
