We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Lead to join our team on a part-time basis in our Cardiac Rehab department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and support a team of dedicated nurses while providing top-notch care to patients recovering from cardiac events.   1. Lead and supervise a team of nurses in the Cardiac Rehab department.
  2. Ensure high-quality care for patients recovering from cardiac events.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  4. Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  5. Assist with the development and implementation of department policies and procedures.
  6. Train and mentor new team members.
  7. Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and efficient patient flow.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  9. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  10. Stay current on advancements in cardiac care and incorporate new techniques and protocols into practice.
  11. Promote a positive and professional work environment.
  12. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  13. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the department.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and address patient and family concerns promptly and effectively.
  15. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and standards of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Rn License: The Most Important Qualification For An Rn, Nurse Lead Position At Adventhealth Is A Valid And Current Rn License. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Provide Quality Patient Care.

  • Previous Experience: Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience Working As An Rn, Preferably In A Cardiac Rehab Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In This Specialized Area Of Nursing.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Nurse Lead, This Position Requires Strong Leadership Skills. Candidates Should Possess The Ability To Effectively Lead A Team, Make Decisions, And Communicate With Others In A Professional And Respectful Manner.

  • Cpr/Bls Certification: A Valid Cpr/Bls Certification Is Required For This Position. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques And Can Respond To Emergency Situations If Needed.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Rehabilitation: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cardiac Rehabilitation And The Treatment Of Heart Disease. This Includes Knowledge Of Exercise Programs, Medication Management, And Patient Education Related To Heart Health.
