As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to our long term care patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being. - Provide compassionate and exceptional nursing care to patients in the Long Term Care unit.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or needs.
- Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided to patients.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Maintain professional standards of practice and ethical behavior.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the Long Term Care unit.

Bls Certification From The American Heart Association
Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Long Term Care Or Geriatric Nursing
Knowledge And Understanding Of Regulations And Guidelines For Long Term Care Facilities, Including Medicare And Medicaid Regulations
