We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery department. As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise to help bring new life into the world and support mothers during one of the most important moments of their lives.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department.
  2. Utilize nursing skills and expertise to assist in the delivery of babies and support mothers during labor.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being during labor and postpartum.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Educate and support patients and their families on childbirth, postpartum care, and infant care.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  8. Monitor fetal heart rate and other vital signs during labor to ensure the safety and well-being of both the mother and baby.
  9. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide the best possible care for patients.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  11. Participate in continuous education and training to maintain and improve nursing skills and knowledge.
  12. Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
  13. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare facilities to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and excellence in patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where The Job Is Located. This License Must Be In Good Standing Without Any Restrictions Or Disciplinary Actions.

  • Labor And Delivery Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Labor And Delivery Unit. This Experience Should Include Managing The Care Of Pregnant Women During Labor, Delivery, And Postpartum.

  • Bls And Nrp Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association And Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certification. These Certifications Must Be Kept Current Throughout Employment.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn): A Bsn Degree Is Preferred For This Position. Candidates With An Associate's Degree In Nursing (Adn) May Be Considered If They Are Currently Enrolled In A Bsn Program And Can Provide Proof Of Enrollment.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment. They Must Also Have Strong Critical Thinking Skills To Be Able To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In Emergency Situations.
