1. Provide exceptional healthcare services to patients in the Emergency Department (ED) of AdventHealth.
2. Deliver compassionate care to patients who are experiencing medical emergencies.
3. Administer timely and high-quality medical treatment to patients in the ED.
4. Maintain a positive and supportive work environment for colleagues.
5. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
6. Monitor and assess the condition of patients in the ED.
7. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
8. Accurately document patient information and interventions in medical records.
9. Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions and treatment plans.
10. Stay up-to-date with current emergency medicine practices and procedures.
11. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
12. Assist with the triage of incoming patients and prioritize care based on urgency.
13. Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
16. Act as an advocate for patients and ensure their needs are met.
17. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
18. Attend required trainings and meetings as scheduled.
19. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
20. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and overall department performance.
