We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As an RN in our CVICU, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide specialized care to critically ill patients with cardiac conditions.   1. Provide compassionate and exceptional patient care in accordance with AdventHealth's standards and protocols.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for critically ill patients with cardiac conditions.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their condition, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  4. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and respond to changes in patients' condition, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
  6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
  7. Advocate for patients' needs and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for their recovery.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in critical care and cardiovascular nursing.
  9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a healthy environment for patients and staff.
  10. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the CVICU unit.
  12. Uphold AdventHealth's mission and values in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications.

  • Valid And Current Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cvicu Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Critical Care Protocols And Procedures, Including Experience With Invasive Monitoring And Ventilator Management.
