Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Rehabilitation Scheduling Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in coordinating and scheduling rehabilitation services for our patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality care. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.   1. Coordinate and schedule rehabilitation services for patients, taking into account their needs and availability.
  2. Communicate with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth scheduling process.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of scheduled appointments and services.
  4. Proactively identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective scheduling of services.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  7. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized scheduling system.
  8. Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  9. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures related to scheduling and patient care.
  10. Attend meetings and trainings as required to stay updated on organizational policies and procedures.
  11. Work closely with rehabilitation therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  12. Display a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing AdventHealth's mission and values.
  13. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  14. Keep abreast of insurance and reimbursement policies to ensure accurate and timely billing for services.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Rehabilitation Services: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Rehabilitation Services, Including Various Therapies And Treatment Plans.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: A Rehabilitation Scheduling Associate Must Be Highly Organized To Effectively Schedule Appointments, Manage Patient Records, And Maintain Accurate Documentation.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial For This Role. Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Provide Clear And Concise Instructions Are Essential.

  • Proficient In Computer Systems: The Candidate Should Have Experience With Medical Software And Electronic Medical Records (Emr) To Efficiently Manage Patient Schedules And Records.

  • Prior Administrative Experience: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting Or Office Environment Is Preferred For This Role. Familiarity With Insurance Verification, Billing, And Other Administrative Tasks Is A Plus.
