
Rehabilitation Aide

- Provide support to patients during rehabilitation sessions, including assisting with exercises and providing encouragement and motivation.
- Monitor and record patients' progress and communicate any updates to the rehabilitation team.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, including setting up and sanitizing equipment.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Keep accurate and organized records of patient information and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with current rehabilitation techniques and procedures.
- Report any patient concerns or issues to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and billing.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients, understanding their individual needs and providing appropriate support.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the rehabilitation team.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Education Is Typically Required For A Rehabilitation Aide Position At Adventhealth.
Cpr Certification: All Rehabilitation Aides Must Be Certified In Cpr Or Be Willing To Obtain Certification Within A Specified Time Frame.
Previous Healthcare Experience: Candidates With Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As Working As A Nursing Assistant Or Medical Assistant, Are Preferred For Rehabilitation Aide Positions.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: Rehabilitation Aides Must Have The Physical Ability To Assist Patients With Mobility And Exercise Routines, As Well As The Stamina To Stand For Long Periods And Lift Up To 50 Pounds.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Rehabilitation Aides Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
