Ardms Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Certification, Which Demonstrates A High Level Of Competency And Knowledge In The Field Of Ultrasound Technology.
Minimum Education Requirement: Adventhealth Requires All Registered Ultrasound Technologists To Have At Least An Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Strong Foundation In Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology.
Experience With A Variety Of Ultrasound Equipment: The Job May Require The Use Of Different Types Of Ultrasound Machines, Such As 2D, 3D, And Doppler. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience Working With A Variety Of Equipment And Be Able To Adapt To New Technology.
