  1. Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, treatments, and medications.
  3. Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field: A Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner At Adventhealth Must Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field. This Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Respiratory Care Principles And Techniques.

  • Active State Licensure As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt): Candidates Must Hold An Active Rrt Licensure In The State Where Adventhealth Is Located. This Ensures That The Applicant Meets The Necessary Requirements To Practice Respiratory Care In That Specific State.

  • Certification By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc): Adventhealth Requires All Registered Respiratory Care Practitioners To Hold A Current And Valid Credential From The Nbrc, Such As The Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt) Or Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Setting: Adventhealth Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner In A Hospital Setting. This Demonstrates The Ability To Handle A High Volume Of Patients And Effectively Manage Complex Respiratory Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Effective Communication And Critical Thinking Are Crucial For A Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner At Adventhealth. This Position Requires Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams To Provide High-Quality Respiratory Care. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
